What you are applying for
An entrepreneur loan for the stage before a bank will look at you
Think of the excitement that comes from starting and running a business. Now imagine watching those plans stall simply because the funding is not there to power the project.
An entrepreneurship loan is a personal loan used to finance investments made by an individual who is an entrepreneur. Shareholders in a limited liability company are equally entitled to one. A good number of Singapore citizens choose licensed moneylenders for this rather than a bank, because the requirement is your capacity to repay rather than two years of filed accounts.
Apart from entrepreneurship loans, business loans and startup loans can also be obtained from licensed moneylenders in Singapore. If you are not sure which category fits, say so on the call — picking the wrong one costs you money.
Because the liability sits with you personally rather than the company, we are careful about the amount. The right figure is the one the business can service without your household absorbing the shortfall.

How to identify a licensed money lender
Take a loan from a Singapore licensed moneylender and you have the backing of the law if there is ever a dispute about the terms you agreed. Our mode of operation describes exactly what is expected of a licensed lender — check anyone you speak to against this list, including us.
A licensed lender will
Never request your Singpass ID or password
Never address you abusively or threaten you for any reason
Never grant a loan without full documentation and a clear explanation of every term
Never cut back the amount granted to you without telling you why
Never ask you to sign a blank or incomplete contract note
Be genuinely interested in your business and your plans for it
Warning signs of an unlicensed lender
An unsolicited loan offer arriving by SMS, WhatsApp or social media
A request for your Singpass credentials, or to log in on your behalf
Money promised and disbursed entirely online, with no face-to-face meeting
A contract note handed over blank, or terms that appear only after signing
Threats, abusive language, or pressure to decide immediately
A fee demanded upfront before any loan is approved
why borrowers choose us
Straight answers, and a repayment you can live with
Five things our customers tell us made the difference, in their words more than ours.
Simple and straightforward
Working out which loan suits you should not take a week of reading. Tell us what you need and we will explain your options clearly.
Responsible lending
We only lend what you can afford to repay. Sometimes that means offering less than you asked for, or telling you a loan is not the right answer.
We know this well
No point applying at five different places and collecting five rejections. Talk to us first about whether you qualify and what you would need to bring.
Fast cash when it counts
Banks usually take one to two weeks. We can often approve within the hour and disburse the same day, which matters when the deadline is tomorrow.

One point worth being clear about
Singapore law requires every licensed moneylender to verify your identity face to face at their approved place of business before releasing any money. A loan approved and paid out entirely online is not permitted here. If someone offers you that, they are not licensed.
